Google Chrome Browser will soon roll out their inbuilt ad-block feature in the browser to provide better user experience while navigating through websites.
Google Chrome will launch Inbuilt Ad-blocker feature:
We all know Google has major revenue from Ads. Most of the bloggers are dependent on Adsense revenue which is an advertising tool from Google. According to StatCounter, 58.4% of people use Google Chrome. As a result, it was a great source for bloggers to earn. But today (19/12/2017), Google Chrome announced that it will roll out Ad-Blocking feature from February 15th, 2018.
Google will be working with the Coalition for Better Ads. By doing this, Google will be able to root out “bad or aggressive” ads that don’t follow the guidelines place by the Coalition. If a particular ad is being reported, then it will be considered as “Failing” status according to the coalition. Chrome will remove all ads from sites that have a failing status in the Ad Experience Report for more than 30 days.
This feature will have a very bad impact on the different types of ads. Chrome will block the Ads covering entire page when visited the website, flashing animations, auto-playing video ads and the popup ads. The ad-blocker will be available for both desktop and mobile. This would affect the most of the bloggers dependent on revenue from Ads.
